Max is an NYC based tattoo artist! He works at Sunnyside tattoo in Queens.
Franz is a scientific illustrator, graphic designer, and invertebrate propagandist. He wants you to listen to his ramblings about obscure lifeforms nobody cares about.
Holly is an environmental scientist-turned-illustrator. Her art touches on ecology and nature themes (with a special place for urban nature!), as well as feminism and body positivity. Originally from California, she currently lives and arts in northern Germany.
Alder is young English/German digital illustrator just embarking upon their journey as a scientist and filled to the brim with enthusiasm to learn! They love to experiment in any and all areas of science with my artwork, but they currently focus mostly on invertebrates!
Alana Thurston grew up in the Brickbottom Artist Building outside of Boston, MA. She is both an environmental scientist and an artist, and is currently interested in bridging her knowledge of both to communicate scientific ideas and research more effectively.
Julia has a degree in Studio Art and Painting, which comes in handy when drawing some of the awesome critters we have on this earth! She works as a History and Science educator at The Mariners Museum!
Jen is a freelance science illustrator based in Victoria, 🇨🇦. While she'll illustrate most topics, she loves marine bio, and is now writing & illustrating her first children's book.
